Qualification: BSc, Diploma in Safety or related field, Advance Diploma in Industrial Safe
Job summary: As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for implementing safety policies, audit and Statutory Compliances/procedures to ensure a safe work environment. You will work closely with management and employees to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Your role will also involve conducting regular safety inspections, training employees on safety protocols and investigating accidents or incidents to determine their root causes and prevent future occurrences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and statutory compliance/procedures as per DISH rules and regulations and company standards
- Conduct regular safety inspections, training and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Train employees on safety protocols and best practices
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Maintain records and filing of returns
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in safety regulations
