Job Title: Sports Head / Head of Physical Education
Role Overview:
The Sports Head leads the school’s sports program, promotes physical fitness, and ensures students participate in structured sports activities that support their overall development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning & Management
- Design and implement the school’s annual sports program
- Prepare schedules for physical education classes, training sessions, and competitions
- Organize events like Annual Sports Day, inter-house and inter-school competitions
2. Team & Student Development
- Identify and nurture talented students in various sports
- Train or supervise coaching for school teams
- Encourage maximum student participation in physical activities
3. Staff Supervision
- Lead and coordinate with physical education teachers and coaches
- Assign duties and monitor performance of sports staff
4. Facilities & Equipment
- Ensure proper maintenance of playgrounds, courts, and sports equipment
- Manage inventory and procurement of sports materials
5. Safety & Discipline
- Ensure safety standards during all sports activities
- Promote discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students
6. Representation & Competitions
- Coordinate participation in inter-school, district, and state-level competitions
- Act as the liaison between the school and external sports bodies
7. Budgeting & Reporting
- Prepare and manage the sports department budget
- Maintain records of student performance, achievements, and activities
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
