Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer with experience in Diesel Generator (DG) operation and maintenance to manage electrical systems within residential, commercial, and IT properties. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted power supply, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and efficient operation of all electrical equipment and utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
- Operate and monitor Diesel Generator (DG) sets, AMF panels, and synchronization panels.
- Conduct routine inspections of transformers, LT panels, UPS systems, MCC panels, and electrical distribution networks.
- Monitor electrical load and ensure uninterrupted power supply to the facility.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of DG sets and associated electrical equipment.
- Maintain daily logs, maintenance reports, and utility records.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance activities.
- Attend emergency electrical breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and facility improvement projects.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety in electrical rooms and utility areas.
Qualifications
- Diploma / BE in Electrical Engineering or ITI with relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Property Management, Facility Management, Commercial Buildings, Apartments, Hospitals, or IT Parks.
- Hands-on experience in DG operation, electrical maintenance, LT panels, UPS systems, and transformers.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance schedules and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and attend emergency breakdowns.
