Must-Have:
- Experience in SQL Server database administration (SQL Server 2012 through 2022).
- Strong proficiency in installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
- Expertise in backup and recovery strategies, using native tools and third-party solutions.
- Deep understanding of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) techniques (AlwaysOn, Log Shipping, Clustering, Mirroring).
- &nbs p; Strong experience in performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, SQL Profiler, and Execution Plans.
- Solid T-SQL programming and scripting experience.
Good-to-Have:
- Exposure to Azure SQL, SQL on IaaS, or other cloud-based DBaaS solutions
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Git, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Understanding of NoSQL, data lakes, or hybrid data platforms.
- Experience with SSRS, SSAS, or Power BI integration.
- Knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL administration for cross-platform exposure.
- ITIL or other service management framework familiarity.
- Experience working in regulated industries (Retail, finance, healthcare, etc.)
- Participation in on-call rotations and incident management.
