The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process at the Dehradun facility. This includes production planning, workforce management, quality control, cost optimization, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong technical knowledge of furniture manufacturing along with excellent leadership, problem-solving, and operational management skills.
Sales & Service Coordination
Manage end-to-end factory operations while serving as the primary point of coordination with the Interior Designer team for order planning, production scheduling, status updates, and delivery timelines.
Coordinate with the Interior Designer team to ensure timely execution of customer orders and project requirements.
Provide regular production status updates and proactively address any order-related concerns.
Ensure seamless communication between production, procurement, logistics, and the Interior Designer team to achieve on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
Good at communication (like writing emails) and comfortable working with Excel sheets for basic data handling and organization.
Minimum 2 + years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role.
Prior experience in furniture manufacturing, upholstery, recliner manufacturing, or allied industries is strongly preferred.
Proven experience managing teams of 40+ workers.
Hands-on exposure to recliner mechanisms, upholstery processes, woodworking, or frame assembly will be an advantage.
