Position: Veterinary Doctor

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Doctor to join our team in Manamadurai. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and well-being of livestock through regular health monitoring, diagnosis, treatment, vaccination, and preventive care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular health check-ups and monitor livestock.
- Diagnose and treat diseases, infections, and other health conditions.
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and appropriate treatments.
- Handle emergency and critical animal health situations.
- Develop and implement preventive healthcare programs.
- Monitor animal nutrition, hygiene, and overall farm health.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments, vaccinations, diseases, and mortality.
- Advise farm staff on proper animal handling, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Coordinate with the farm management team to maintain healthy livestock operations.
- Ensure compliance with veterinary and animal welfare standards.
Requirements
- BVSc & AH or equivalent recognized veterinary qualification.
- Valid registration with the relevant Veterinary Council.
- Experience in livestock/farm animal management will be an advantage.
- Good clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work at the farm and handle livestock directly.
