Role Overview
This is a senior leadership role. You will lead a 4-member corporate sales team while personally owning 20% of the annual team revenue target. You report directly to the CRO and are the single accountable leader for the Corporate Sales vertical. The team's annual target is Rs. 3,50,00,000. An additional Rs. 1 Crore is owned directly by the CRO through strategic deals, taking the vertical to Rs. 5 Crore total.
This is a build-from-scratch mandate — the corporate sales function is being set up fresh. We need someone with the maturity to build structure, the drive to close deals personally, and the leadership to develop a team.
What You Will DoTeam Leadership
- Hire, onboard, and develop all 4 team members in coordination with CRO and HR
- Set individual quarterly targets, run weekly Monday pipeline reviews, and coach on deal strategy
- Ensure the team maintains 3x pipeline coverage against quarterly target at all times
- Enforce full CRM compliance — every deal logged, every stage updated, no exceptions
Personal Revenue Responsibility
- Own and close strategic mid-market deals in the Rs. 5L–20L range personally
- Support CRO on deals above Rs. 20L — joint proposals, presentations, and negotiations
- Build and maintain relationships with CHRO, VP-HR, TA Head, and L&D Head buyers
- Develop account plans for the top 10 priority enterprise target accounts within first 30 days
Strategy & Forecasting
- Own the monthly corporate revenue forecast — accuracy within 15% of actuals
- Represent Think Exam at HR industry events, NHRDN/SHRM forums, and corporate summits
- Provide competitor intelligence and market feedback to the CRO and product team monthly
What We Are Looking For
- 6–10 years in B2B sales; minimum 3 years in HRTech, EdTech, Assessment, or B2B SaaS
- At least 2 years managing a sales team or as a senior individual contributor with team mentoring responsibility
- Proven track record of independently closing deals in the Rs. 10L–50L range with mid-to-large Indian corporates (500+ employee organisations)
- Strong understanding of corporate hiring processes — from requisition to onboarding — and where assessment solutions create measurable value at each stage
- Deep working knowledge of psychometric assessments — personality profiling, behavioural assessments, cognitive ability tests, aptitude testing, and 360-degree feedback tools; must be able to position these credibly to a CHRO or L&D Head
- Prior experience selling or working alongside assessment or HRTech platforms — e.g., Mercer Mettl, MeritTrac, iMocha, Keka, Darwinbox, or similar; awareness of Think Exam's competitive landscape is a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of HR technology ecosystems — knows how ATS, HRMS, LMS, and assessment platforms interact within a corporate talent workflow and can articulate Think Exam's positioning within it
- Strong commercial awareness — understands contract structures, renewal timelines, and how to protect margins while negotiating enterprise deals
- Existing network of CHRO, VP-HR, or TA Head contacts in Pharma, BFSI, IT, or Healthcare
- MBA preferred; fluent in English and Hindi; strong executive presence in C-suite conversations
- CRM proficient — Zoho CRM or HubSpot experience required
