Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Executive / Senior Executive to support hospital billing operations, billing audits, government health scheme claims, documentation, and compliance across Shalby hospitals. The role will focus on ensuring accurate billing, timely claim submissions, reducing deductions, and identifying process gaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and monitor hospital billing transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Conduct billing audits and identify billing errors, discrepancies, and process gaps.
- Handle billing processes related to Government Health Schemes, including CGHS, ECHS, and other applicable schemes.
- Review and ensure proper documentation and file preparation as per scheme requirements.
- Coordinate with Unit Billing/TPA teams for timely file submission and claim processing.
- Verify claim documentation, billing details, approvals, and supporting records before submission.
- Analyse claim deductions, rejections, and short payments and identify their root causes.
- Coordinate with concerned units to resolve billing discrepancies and improve claim acceptance.
- Maintain records and MIS related to claims, deductions, submissions, and billing performance.
- Ensure adherence to applicable billing policies, scheme guidelines, and internal controls.
- Identify recurring billing issues and recommend process improvements to minimise errors and claim deductions.
- Support the Corporate Billing team in standardising billing and claim processes across units.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of hospital billing operations and billing audits.
- Hands-on experience with CGHS, ECHS, and Government Health Schemes.
- Good understanding of claim documentation, file submission, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to identify billing discrepancies and analyse claim deductions/rejections.
- Good MS Excel and MIS reporting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Process-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and revenue protection.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
