Role Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
2. Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and product/service offerings to expand the business.
3. Build and lead a high-performing sales team by training and developing sales staff.
4. Set clear sales targets, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure individual and team success.
5. Oversee all sales operations and processes, including lead generation, qualification, pipeline management, and forecasting.
6. Develop and implement sales strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
7. Foster strong relationships with key customers, prospects, and partners.
8. Engage in strategic account management activities to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and resolve issues promptly.
10. Monitor sales metrics, analyse performance data, and generate regular sales reports, identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, and develop appropriate action plans to improve sales performance and achieve revenue targets.
11. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and emerging opportunities. Use this information to refine sales strategies and develop effective value propositions.
12. Collaborate on product/service positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
13. Stay updated on sales best practices, industry developments, and emerging technologies.
14. Continuously assess and improve sales processes, tools, and techniques to enhance team performance and efficiency.
