ob Summary
The Robot Welder is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining robotic welding machines to ensure high-quality welding production as per company standards, safety requirements, and production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate robotic welding machines and welding cells as per production requirements.
- Load and unload components from robotic welding fixtures.
- Perform welding quality checks and ensure welds meet specifications.
- Set up welding fixtures, jigs, and tooling as required.
- Monitor robot performance and identify welding defects or machine abnormalities.
- Conduct routine machine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot minor robot welding issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for major breakdowns.
- Maintain production records, rejection reports, and machine logs.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of robotic welding operations.
- Understanding of MIG/MAG welding processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection methods.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety procedures in manufacturing environments.
Qualification
- ITI (Welder/Fitter) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Certification in welding or robotic welding is preferred.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in robotic welding operations in an automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Experience with welding robots such as FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa, or Panasonic is preferred.

- Production target achievement.

- Machine uptime and efficiency.

- 5S and housekeeping standards.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
