We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Officer to join our team in Puducherry. The Quality Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all products, processes, and systems comply with established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. This role involves implementing and maintaining quality management systems, conducting inspections, and participating in audits to uphold the highest levels of product quality and operational excellence.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and other relevant industry regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality specifications and standards.
- Identify and document non-conformances, deviations, and potential quality issues, initiating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as required.
- Prepare and review quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, quality manuals, and inspection reports.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance data, trends, and metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and supply chain, to integrate quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality control procedures, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and quality awareness.
- Participate in internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections, and ensure timely resolution of any findings.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international quality and safety regulations applicable to the industry in Puducherry.
- Manage calibration and maintenance schedules for quality control equipment and instrumentation.
- Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and implement effective resolutions.
