Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier cum Office Assistant to manage cash handling, banking operations, and office administration activities. The role involves coordinating with banks, government offices, auditors, and other external stakeholders while ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. Candidates should be comfortable with frequent local travel for official work and possess strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily cash counting, reconciliation, and cash management activities.
- Manage cash deposits, withdrawals, and routine banking transactions.
- Coordinate with bank officials for account-related documentation and follow-ups.
- Liaise with government offices, the LIC office, the auditor's office, the income tax office, and other government offices
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative records using Tally and MS Office applications.
- Perform regular local travel for official tasks and document collection/submission.
- Assist in preparing reports, maintaining files, and supporting day-to-day office operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain confidentiality of financial records.
Qualification / Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- A valid two-wheeler driving license.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with banks and government departments.
- Basic understanding of accounting, cash management, and office administration.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Trustworthy, punctual, and capable of working independently.
Experience
- 5 years of experience in cash handling, cashier operations, office administration, accounts assistance, or a similar role.
- Experience in banking coordination, liaison activities, or documentation work will be preferred.
