Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Interior Site Engineer to manage and supervise interior fit-out works, ensuring projects are executed as per approved drawings, quality standards, project schedules, and safety requirements. The candidate will coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day interior execution works at the project site.
- Coordinate civil, interior, MEP, and finishing activities.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and brand standards.
- Monitor project progress and prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
- Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work quantities.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate material planning, procurement, and site deliveries.
- Monitor manpower deployment and contractor productivity.
- Identify site issues and provide timely technical solutions.
- Attend client, consultant, and contractor meetings.
- Ensure all safety guidelines and site regulations are followed.
- Maintain proper documentation, checklists, inspection records, and snag lists.
- Coordinate project handover and close-out activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of interior finishing works.
- Experience in gypsum ceilings, partitions, flooring, painting, joinery, furniture, modular kitchens, glazing, and decorative finishes.
- Basic understanding of MEP coordination.
- Ability to read architectural, interior, and shop drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ, quantity verification, and billing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
- Experience with project management software will be an added advantage.
Qualification
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Interior-related field.
Preferred Experience
- 2–5 years in Interior Fit-Out, Hospitality, Commercial, Residential, Retail, or Corporate Office Projects.
- Experience in hotel and premium interior projects will be preferred.
