Summary:
As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes planning and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and deliver high performance. The position requires coordinating with various stakeholders to align migration strategies with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the migration process. The engineer plays a key role in enabling organizations to leverage both private and public cloud technologies to achieve advanced business outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and execution of cloud migration strategies to ensure seamless transition and minimal disruption.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align migration efforts with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure PaaS.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure design and deployment, focusing on scalable and resilient architectures.
- Strong understanding of cloud migration methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud environments and application performance.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline migration and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of security principles and compliance standards relevant to cloud platforms.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure PaaS.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
