Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities in the fabrication and sheet metal department.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Supervise fabrication processes including cutting, bending, welding, punching, and assembly operations.
- Optimize machine utilization, manpower allocation, and production efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, work orders, and process documentation.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize production wastage.
- Coordinate with the Quality, Stores, and Maintenance departments for smooth operations.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and production planning.
- Hands-on experience with laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, and fabrication operations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of production planning, process improvement, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
Qualification:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
- 3–6 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing operations.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in fabrication, sheet metal, enclosures, electrical panels, or engineering manufacturing industries.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
