Job Description
The Solution Architect is responsible for designing, building, and overseeing the implementation of highly scalable end-to-end (E2E) analytics architectures. This role addresses complex enterprise data challenges using a modern cloud data stack including Azure, Snowflake, and dbt, while accelerating delivery through AI-assisted development tools and practices.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the complete E2E analytics architecture, from data ingestion to transformation and consumption.
- Design robust data pipelines using Azure, dbt, and Snowflake.
- Act as a technical authority influencing global data strategy and cloud data warehousing best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, global business units, Data Engineers, and stakeholders to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
- Establish and enforce standards for:
- Data governance
- Security
- Performance optimization
- Analytics architecture best practices
- Implement and promote “MPG Standards” through disciplined execution.

Requirements
- 10+ years of overall experience in Data & Analytics.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Data Architect or Solution Architect.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Snowflake including:
- Data Sharing
- Performance Tuning
- Architecture Design
- Strong expertise in dbt for transformation and data modeling.
- Extensive experience in Microsoft Azure ecosystem:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Synapse
- Proven experience designing end-to-end analytics architectures from source systems to reporting/visualization layers.
- Practical experience implementing and mentoring teams on AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery workflows.
