Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities, equipment, and utilities to ensure smooth daily operations. The role includes preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and ensuring guest areas and back-of-house facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Maintenance
- Perform daily inspection of hotel facilities and equipment.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Attend maintenance requests from guest rooms and departments promptly.
- Maintain proper records of repairs and maintenance work completed.
Electrical Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, and equipment.
- Monitor power supply systems and ensure safe operation.
- Report major electrical issues requiring external support.
Plumbing Maintenance
- Repair leaking taps, pipes, flush tanks, and drainage issues.
- Ensure uninterrupted water supply throughout the property.
- Monitor water pumps, tanks, and plumbing systems.
HVAC & Equipment Maintenance
- Conduct routine checks of air-conditioning systems and refrigeration equipment.
- Coordinate servicing of HVAC equipment when required.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment operate efficiently.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
- Report any hazards or safety concerns immediately.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Maintain maintenance tools and equipment in good condition.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and raise purchase requests when necessary.
- Minimize wastage and ensure cost-effective maintenance practices.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in hotels or hospitality.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair work.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues independently.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
