SENIOR TEST ENGINEER - HARDWARE

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking technically sound, Test Engineer for our organisation, who can
- Work with design team to develop test plans to verify designs and qualify manufacturing processes .
- Do Board Bringup, Functional testing, system testing of the Boards/Systems and prepare test reports.
- Design and implement Test jigs, test setups required for the Board/system/manufacturing testing
- Do the System Integration testing with support of Software, Mechanical and Hardware team
- Do/support Environmental and certification testing
- Debug and repair RMA boards
- Installation/Maintenance of systems/boards at client location
- Support and participate in company’s certification activities like ISO-9001, ISO 26262 etc
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electronic or electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
- Technical Skills: Test Equipment: Proficiency in using various test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, signal generators, and other specialized tools for hardware testing.
- Test planning and execution: Experience in coming up with HW or System level Test plan from the Requirements specification and execution of the test plan.
- Hardware Knowledge: Strong knowledge of hardware components, including microprocessors, memory devices, sensors, analog and digital circuits, and other hardware components.
- Protocols: Understanding of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, and others, depending on the hardware being tested.
- Standards and Certification: Knowledge of different compliance standards in HW product development. Experience in certification testing
- Quality Assurance: Knowledge of quality assurance principles and test methodologies to design and conduct effective hardware tests.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and diagnose hardware issues and defects.
- Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to document test plans, report test results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware designers and product managers.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
