Job Title: Finishing Engineer

PropCheckup is seeking a detail-oriented Finishing Engineer to oversee and inspect the finishing quality of residential properties. The ideal candidate will ensure that all finishing works meet quality standards and are completed as per approved specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and monitor finishing works including flooring, tiling, painting, doors, windows, ceilings, waterproofing, and fixtures.
- Identify defects, snags, and workmanship issues and ensure timely rectification.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site teams to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct quality checks before project handover.
- Prepare snag lists, inspection reports, and progress updates.
- Verify that finishing materials and workmanship comply with project specifications.
- Ensure timely completion of finishing activities while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in residential or commercial finishing works.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, finishing processes, and quality standards.
- Good observation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to read drawings and identify site deviations.
- Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.
