Job Description
Restaurant is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef (CDP) specializing in Arabic, Lebanese, and Mediterranean cuisine to lead our culinary team and drive the launch of our new dining concept. The ideal candidate should possess strong operational knowledge, menu development skills, and hands-on expertise in authentic Middle Eastern cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations and food production.
- Design and standardize menus, recipes, and portion controls.
- Prepare and supervise authentic Arabic and Mediterranean dishes.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain quality and consistency.
- Monitor food cost, inventory, and wastage control.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate procurement and kitchen scheduling.
- Maintain high standards of presentation and guest satisfaction.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Arabic, Lebanese, and Mediterranean cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Shawarma
- Shawaya
- Mixed Grills
- Mezze
- Hummus
- Falafel
- Kabsa
- Mandi
- Mediterranean Salads
- Experience in menu engineering and kitchen operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a high-volume restaurant environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as Head Chef, Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or Senior CDP in a reputed restaurant or hotel.
- Experience opening or managing an Arabic restaurant concept is an added advantage.
