Key Roles and Responsibilities1. Student Welfare and Care
- Monitor Student Well-being: Tracking health, hygiene, and general living conditions of residents.
- Provide Emotional Support: Counseling students through academic, emotional, or personal issues.
- Emergency Response: Arranging first aid and hospital transportation during sudden health crises.
- Community Engagement: Organizing recreational sports, cultural programs, and community-building activities.
2. Discipline and Compliance
- Enforce Regulations: Upholding strict adherence to curfew timings, attendance checks, and general hostel rules.
- Manage Student Movement: Issuing gate passes and maintaining accurate check-in/check-out logs.
- Address Misconduct: Handling instances of indiscipline, fighting, or bullying, and escalating severe issues like ragging.
- Conflict Resolution: Mediating room-partner disputes and addressing noise complaints.
3. Operations and Facility Management
- Room Allocation: Coordinating room allotments and managing keys or lockouts.
- Mess and Catering Supervision: Monitoring kitchen hygiene, food quality, and meal scheduling.
- Housekeeping Oversight: Ensuring daily cleaning of corridors, bathrooms, and outdoor campus spaces.
- Maintenance Coordination: Lodging complaints for broken furniture, electrical problems, or water issues.
4. Administrative Duties
- Record Keeping: Maintaining active student databases, attendance ledgers, and visitor logs.
- Stock Inventory: Managing stock registers for hostel equipment, linens, and cleaning supplies.
- Parent and Administration Liaison: Communicating updates or disciplinary issues to parents and institutional heads.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any stream. Degrees in social work, psychology, or hospitality management are preferred.
- Experience: Typically requires 2 to 5 years of experience in residential facility management or a supervisory student role.
- Key Skills:
- Strong interpersonal communication to relate with young adults.
- High level of crisis management and prompt decision-making skills.
- Basic computer literacy to handle spreadsheets and official digital logs.
- Availability: Willingness to live on-site and remain available for round-the-clock emergency assistance.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
