Role: Fund analyst
Location: Hyderabad — hybrid and remote options available
Experience: 0 - 2 years
At Techdome, technology has always been our lens for seeing what's next. We've spent years building cloud, AI, automation, and digital solutions for businesses — and that same instinct for spotting where the future is heading now drives how we invest. Through our angel fund, we back early-stage founders at the moment of greatest uncertainty and greatest possibility, bringing not just capital but the operating know-how of a team that has actually built and scaled technology.
We're a place where sharp thinking is valued over hierarchy, where you'll work close to decision-makers, and where the work you do is visible the moment it lands.
We back founders at the earliest, most uncertain, and most exciting stage of their journey — when an idea is little more than conviction and a small team willing to bet on it. As an angel fund, the quality of our decisions depends entirely on the quality of our thinking. That's where you come in.
This is not a back-office number-crunching seat. As our Fund Analyst, you are the engine room of every investment decision we make: the person who finds the signal in the noise, pressure-tests the story behind each startup, and turns scattered information into clear, confident recommendations. You'll sit at the center of our work with founders, our lawyers, and our accountants — the connective tissue that keeps deals moving and disciplined.
If you're energized by early-stage startups, comfortable making judgment calls with incomplete data, and want a front-row seat to how investments actually get made, this role is built for you.
-
Source and screen opportunities. Build a pipeline of promising early-stage startups, filter inbound pitches, and surface the deals worth a deeper look.
-
Lead due diligence. Dig into founding teams, products, market size, traction, and competitive landscape — combining sharp qualitative judgment with hard analysis where the data exists.
-
Build the financial picture. Develop valuation estimates, cap table analyses, return scenarios, and lightweight projections suited to pre-revenue and early-revenue companies.
-
Coordinate the deal. Act as the bridge between our principals, founders, lawyers, and accountants — preparing and organizing materials for legal review (term sheets, SAFEs, convertible notes, shareholder agreements) and supporting financial verification, fund accounting, and tax structuring.
-
Monitor the portfolio. Track how our existing investments are performing, maintain relationships with portfolio founders, and flag follow-on opportunities.
-
Sharpen our process. Help us build better internal tools, memos, and frameworks so every decision is faster and more rigorous than the last.
-
A degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience that proves you can do the work.
-
Genuine curiosity about startups, technology, and how early-stage companies are built.
-
Comfort with ambiguity: you can form a view and defend it even when the numbers are thin.
-
Strong analytical and financial modeling fundamentals.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication — you can turn a complex deal into a clear one-page argument.
-
A coordinator's instinct: organized, detail-oriented, and reliable when juggling founders, lawyers, and accountants at once.
-
High integrity and discretion. You'll handle sensitive financial and legal information daily.
-
Exposure to venture capital, angel investing, startup operations, or a high-growth environment.
-
Progress toward (or interest in) the CFA designation.
-
Familiarity with deal documents (SAFEs, convertible notes, term sheets) or fund accounting.
