Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head – Erection & Fabrication with a strong Mechanical Engineering background to lead fabrication, structural erection, and industrial shed construction activities. The candidate should possess extensive knowledge of PEB (Pre-Engineered Building), industrial shed erection, structural fabrication, equipment installation, and project execution while ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of projects.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Additional certifications in fabrication, welding, or project management will be preferred
Experience
- 12–20 years of experience in fabrication, structural erection, and industrial shed projects
- Experience in Steel, Power, Cement, Mining, Infrastructure, or Industrial Projects preferred
- Proven experience in handling large-scale fabrication and erection teams
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all fabrication and erection activities for industrial sheds and structural projects.
- Plan, execute, and monitor fabrication, erection, and installation work as per project schedules.
- Ensure proper execution of PEB structures, roofing, cladding, and shed construction activities.
- Supervise structural steel fabrication, welding, fitting, and assembly operations.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Manage contractors, vendors, and site manpower effectively.
- Monitor project progress, resource utilization, and cost control.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and statutory requirements at project sites.
- Resolve technical issues related to fabrication, erection, and structural installations.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure defect-free execution.
- Prepare project reports and update management on project status.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of structural fabrication and erection.
- Expertise in industrial shed construction, PEB structures, roofing, and cladding.
- Knowledge of welding processes, fabrication standards, and structural drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOQs.
- Strong project management and team leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project planning tools.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
