Department: Towage Operations
Location: Bhavnagar, Gujarat
Employment Type: Full-Time (Field-Based)
Travel Requirement: Travel across shipyards, ports, project sites, and client locations as required

Profile:
- Ability to travel extensively and manage operations across multiple project locations and shipyards
- Experience in coordinating with government authorities, port officials, classification societies, clients, contractors, and service providers
- Support the Bhavnagar office by handling local coordination, follow-ups, and site-related activities whenever required.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and operational documentation
- Preferably a prior experience in shipyards, marine operations, vessel management, tug operations, offshore projects, or heavy engineering industries preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Marine Operations & Field Coordination
- Act as the on-ground representative of the company for towage and marine operational activities
- Travel regularly between Bhavnagar and various shipyards, ports, client locations, and project sites
- Coordinate vessel mobilization, demobilization, towing operations, and related marine activities
- Monitor project progress and provide real-time operational updates to management
Towage Division Support
- Coordinate between vessel crews, clients, shipyards, and management for efficient execution of projects
- Track vessel schedules, crew movements, project milestones, and operational requirements
- Assist in planning resource allocation, manpower deployment, and logistical arrangements
Compliance & Documentation Coordination
- Coordinate with the Administration department for statutory, contractual, and operational compliance requirements
- Follow up on permits, gate passes, port clearances, vessel documentation, crew documentation, and project-related approvals
- Maintain records of vessel certifications, statutory documents, inspection reports, and operational logs
- Ensure all project documentation is submitted accurately and within required timeline
Stakeholder Management & Liaison
- Serve as the primary field contact for clients, shipyard representatives, port authorities, contractors, and vendors
- Attend project meetings, operational reviews, inspections, and site visits
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across various project locations
- Coordinate resolution of operational challenges and escalate critical issues to management
Technical & Project Support
- Assist management in evaluating technical requirements at project sites and shipyards
- Coordinate inspections, surveys, maintenance activities, and repair requirements related to vessels and marine equipment
- Support project execution teams during mobilization, commissioning, and operational phases
- Monitor work progress and ensure activities are executed as per project requirements
- Identify operational risks and recommend corrective actions
Reporting & Management Support
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Maintain records of project status, vessel utilization, site visits, and compliance activities
- Provide management with updates on project progress, client interactions, and operational challenges
- Assist in preparing presentations, project summaries, and management reports
Salary Range: ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 / per month
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
