About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Agentic Harness Engineer to design, build, and operate a governed, AWS-native autonomous agentic delivery loop. In this role, you will embed directly with engineering teams to turn generative AI concepts into a production-grade, auditable, and cost-controlled enterprise execution engine.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the end-to-end agentic loop: trigger → orchestration → human-in-the-loop review → execution → status reporting.
- Implement multi-model routing, fallback handling, and retry mechanisms across AWS Bedrock and third-party LLM providers.
- Manage token cost controls, circuit breakers, context window allocation, and cost attribution.
- Enforce agent governance, deterministic safety guardrails, kill switches, and prompt injection mitigation.
- Integrate agent workflows with JIRA/Atlassian APIs as the primary system of record.
- Establish real-time observability, health monitoring, and audit logging across agent fleets using tools like Langfuse or Datadog.
Requirements
- Python: 4–5+ years of production software engineering experience.
- AWS Cloud: 3+ years hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (Bedrock exposure preferred).
- Agentic Harness / Systems: 3+ years building and deploying agentic systems in production.
- Frameworks & Orchestration: 1+ year practical experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent frameworks.
- LLM Orchestration: 1+ year managing model gateways, prompt workflows, and context memory.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years with enterprise governance orchestration and compliance workflows.
- Strong hands-on integration experience with JIRA/Atlassian REST APIs or similar ticketing engines.
- Experience with workflow engines such as Temporal or model proxy routers like LiteLLM.
