The Team You’ll Join
You will join Envestnet’s Technology team, where we design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and robust WealthTech solutions that power the future of financial advice. The team collaborates closely with product, operations, and business stakeholders to drive innovation, enhance efficiency, and enable sustainable growth. Guided by modern engineering practices and a commitment to domain excellence, technical rigor, and collaboration, the Technology team ensures our platforms remain resilient, adaptable, and aligned with evolving business needs making it a core driver of Envestnet’s long‑term success.
How You’ll Contribute
We are seeking an Architect to lead the design and implementation of UMP’s integration capabilities. This role combines architectural ownership with active engineering involvement and works closely with Business and other Engineering teams.
- Own the architecture for UMP integrations (APIs, events, data flows)
- Design and build critical integration components and frameworks
- Define and promote standard integration patterns and best practices
- Review designs and code for scalability, reliability, and security
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on complex integration needs
- Apply modern approaches, including AI/ML services, where they add value
What You’ll Need to Bring
- Experience in software engineering, with strong exposure to integration or platform architecture
- Experience working in product‑centric or SaaS environments
- Comfortable dealing with complex, evolving systems and requirements
- API‑first and event‑driven architecture design
- Strong hands‑on coding in Java, Springboot
Nice-to-Haves
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Understanding of distributed systems principles, including resilience, scalability, and observability practices
Exposure to AI-driven solutions or integrations involving Large Language Models (LLMs)
