A hotel Front Office Executive serves as the property's heartbeat, managing the guest experience from arrival to departure. Their primary duties include overseeing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations and billing, resolving guest complaints, and coordinating closely with housekeeping and maintenance for a seamless stay.
A structured breakdown of their core responsibilities includes:1. Guest Services & Relations
- Arrivals & Departures: Welcome guests, verify bookings, assign rooms, and process check-ins/check-outs efficiently.
- Concierge Duties: Provide information regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, dining recommendations, and travel directions.
- Complaint Resolution: Listen to guest feedback and resolve issues swiftly to ensure satisfaction and maintain the hotel’s reputation.
2. Reservations & Administration
- Booking Management: Handle room reservations via phone, email, or online platforms, ensuring accuracy in guest profiles and preferences.
- Billing & Payments: Process transactions, verify guest folios, compute final bills, and handle cash or credit operations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain logs of room availability, daily arrivals, and guest requests.
3. Departmental Coordination
- Housekeeping Liaison: Communicate daily with the Example Hotel Housekeeping team to track room statuses (e.g., notifying them when a room is vacated so it can be cleaned).
- Maintenance Alerts: Coordinate with the maintenance team to quickly address any technical or facility issues in guest rooms.
4. Operations & Security
- Key Management: Ensure strict security and proper control over room keys and access cards.
- Shift Handover: Conduct thorough shift briefings to ensure the incoming staff is updated on VIP arrivals, ongoing issues, and daily operations.
5. Management & Reporting
- Night Auditing: Depending on the shift, review and close out the day's financial books, generating daily reports for upper management.
- Staff Guidance: Assist the Front Office Manager in training, mentoring, and supervising junior reception and desk staff.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
