Job Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing on-page SEO strategies, including meta tags, title optimization, internal linking, image optimization, and content optimization.
- Perform off-page SEO activities such as high-quality backlink building, business listings, directory submissions, guest posting, social bookmarking, profile creation, and citation building.
- Support technical SEO audits, including website crawling, indexing issues, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, schema markup, page speed optimization, Core Web Vitals, and mobile usability.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Monitor keyword rankings and website performance using SEO tools.
- Optimize website content according to SEO best practices.
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
- Work closely with content writers, developers, and the marketing team to improve website visibility.
- Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm updates and SEO trends.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, and Technical SEO.
- Understanding of keyword research and search intent.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and basic SEO tools.
- Basic understanding of website structure, HTML, and WordPress will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of backlink analysis and link-building techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in the field of SEO.
Eligibility
- Pursuing or completed a bachelor's degree in marketing, computer applications, IT, business, or a related field.
- Certification in Digital Marketing or SEO will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with hands-on SEO training or live project experience are preferred.
