Position Overview
Shaktipeeth School is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable TGT Social Science Teacher to teach students of middle and secondary classes. The ideal candidate should be passionate about History, Geography, Civics, and Economics, and capable of creating an engaging and interactive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Social Science subjects to students of Classes VI–X as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Develop students’ understanding of historical, geographical, political, and economic concepts.
- Encourage critical thinking, discussions, and project-based learning.
- Conduct regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
- Use innovative teaching methods, maps, presentations, and digital tools for effective learning.
- Prepare students for examinations, quizzes, and co-curricular academic activities.
- Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and training programs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related subject preferred.
- Graduation degree preferred.
- CTET/TGT qualification preferred.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
Required Skills
- Strong subject knowledge across Social Science disciplines.
- Ability to make lessons interactive and student-friendly.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with smart classroom teaching methods and digital platforms.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
