As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer develops proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of proposed cloud environments, ensuring that infrastructure and platform setups are optimized for operational success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language).
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
- Experience with automation and scripting to streamline cloud operations.
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
- Ability to design scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving complex cloud platform issues.
