Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Sea Operations Executive with a minimum of 2 years of experience in freight forwarding and ocean freight operations. The candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end FCL and LCL Import & Export shipments, coordinating with shipping lines, co-loaders, overseas agents, transporters, customs brokers, and customers to ensure seamless shipment execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end Sea Import and Export Operations for both FCL (Full Container Load) and LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments.
- Coordinate bookings with shipping lines, NVOCCs, co-loaders, and overseas agents.
- Manage shipment planning, cargo movement, and vessel scheduling.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents including Bill of Lading (BL), Shipping Bill, Invoice, Packing List, Delivery Orders, and other related documentation.
- Coordinate cargo stuffing/de-stuffing activities and monitor shipment milestones.
- Track shipments and provide proactive updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with customs brokers, transporters, CFS/ICD operators, warehouses, and shipping lines for smooth cargo clearance and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, shipping procedures, and company SOPs.
- Handle shipment exceptions, delays, rollovers, and operational issues effectively.
- Coordinate with overseas partners for import arrivals, export departures, and shipment status updates.
- Verify vendor invoices, shipping line charges, and support billing activities.
- Maintain accurate operational records and shipment documentation.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure customer requirements and service commitments are met.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Sea Freight Operations within a freight forwarding or logistics company.
- Hands-on experience in handling FCL and LCL shipments for both imports and exports.
- Strong understanding of shipping documentation, customs procedures, and freight forwarding operations.
- Knowledge of CFS, ICD, port operations, and shipping line processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with freight forwarding software/ERP systems is preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
