Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to handle Mathematics and Computer Science for middle school students (Grades V–VII) under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, be able to create engaging learning experiences, and help students develop logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and digital literacy skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics and Computer Science to Grades V–VII in accordance with the school curriculum
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning materials
- Develop students' conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and practical application skills
- Conduct regular tests, assignments, projects, and evaluations
- Monitor student progress and provide academic support where required
- Maintain student records and academic reports
- Participate in parent-teacher interactions and academic review meetings
- Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and classroom activities
- Contribute to school events, student mentoring, and co-curricular activities
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- B.Ed. preferred / as per CBSE norms
Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience
- Experience teaching Mathematics and/or Computer Science in CBSE schools is preferred
Skills Required
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Computer Science
- Ability to simplify concepts and make learning engaging for middle school students
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- Student-centric and activity-based teaching approach
- Familiarity with modern teaching tools and educational technology
- English communication skills mandatory; Kannada is an advantage
