Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Furniture Production Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in modular furniture production and the ability to streamline processes, maintain quality control, and meet delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end furniture production including cutting, edge-banding, assembling, and finishing processes.
- Plan and schedule production activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and installation teams for seamless workflow.
- Supervise factory staff and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure final output meets design specifications.
- Maintain and optimize factory equipment and tools.
- Generate daily production reports and suggest improvements for efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Furniture Design, or related field.
- Up to 5 years of relevant experience in modular furniture manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of woodworking machinery and modular furniture components.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and production plans.
- Ability to lead a team and handle shop-floor operations independently.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
