Job Title: Specialist - Cloud Engineering

Job Description:
1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS Glue.
2. Architect and implement secure, high-performance RESTful and HTTP APIs leveraging AWS API Gateway.
3. Configure and manage API throttling, quota management, and security policies including IAM for role-based access.
4. Develop and maintain scalable API solutions, ensuring seamless integration with various services and systems.
5. Utilize programming languages such as Python, Java, and NodeJS for cloud service development and automation.
6. Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub for version control and automated deployment of cloud infrastructure and applications.
7. Work with modern cloud architectures, including containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
8. Design data models, normalized request/response schema contracts, and ensure data validation for services.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform component testing and ensure end-to-end solution integrity.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
Skills and Qualifications:
Mandatory Skills:
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS Glue for data integration and ETL workflows.
5-7 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-native solutions on AWS.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AWS services, particularly API Gateway, Lambda, S3, EC2, and IAM.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or NodeJS.
Experience with API development and management, including API proxies, policies, and security.
Familiarity with data formats such as XML, JSON, and XSLT.
Hands-on experience with version control systems like GitHub and CI/CD pipeline automation.
Working knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of SOAP, OAuth, Swagger/OpenAPI standards.
Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and optimization of cloud engineering solutions with a focus on data processing and API management.
Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of all deployed cloud services.
Drive best practices in cloud architecture, development, and operational excellence.
Act as a subject matter expert for AWS Glue and related data engineering practices.
