We are seeking a Project Manager with strong experience delivering complex software projects in fast paced, product driven environments. This role is for the same AgroTech SaaS platform team, working closely with Python, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, microservices, and data engineering teams.
The ideal candidate is a delivery-focused project owner who thrives in a startup environment — capable of driving execution, coordinating cross functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring high quality delivery across our platform initiatives. You’ll play a key role in orchestrating the development lifecycle, ensuring alignment between engineering, AI, product, and business teams.
- Project Planning & Delivery
- Own end‑to‑end project planning, sprint structuring, backlog management, and delivery tracking for platform modules.
- Define clear milestones, timelines, and delivery expectations for engineering teams.
- Ensure smooth execution of development cycles across backend, data, and microservices teams.
- Cross‑Functional Coordinatio
- Work closely with engineering, AI, product, and design teams to translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely decision‑making.
- Coordinate with DevOps for deployment schedules, release planning, and environment readiness.
- Execution Management
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, documentation, and quality standards.
- Drive structured stand‑ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and planning sessions.
- Process & Quality Governance
- Maintain project documentation, requirement specs, and delivery reports.
- Ensure compliance with security, testing, and performance guidelines.
- Track KPIs, delivery metrics, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Team Leadership & Support
- Support a small team of developers and data engineers by removing blockers and enabling smooth execution.
- Foster a collaborative, outcome‑driven culture aligned with startup agility.
- Work with leadership to continuously refine processes, workflows, and delivery frameworks.
While this role is not hands‑on coding, familiarity with the following ecosystem is essential for effective project management:
- Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django)
- PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, optimization)

- Cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes

- Experience working with technical documentation, architecture discussions, and engineering workflows

- Experience in geospatial, satellite, or mapping-based applications
- 8+ years of total experience in software/IT.
- 2–3 years of hands‑on project management experience in product or engineering teams.
- Background in technical environments (Python, APIs, data platforms) is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
