Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with strong server-side development expertise and hands-on experience with Apache Kafka. The candidate should have experience developing scalable backend applications, REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Node.js
- Strong Server-Side / Backend Development experience
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
- JavaScript / TypeScript

- Event-Driven Architecture
- SQL / NoSQL Databases
Kafka Experience
The candidate should have hands-on experience with:
- Kafka Producers and Consumers
- Kafka Topics and Partitions
- Consumer Groups
- Event-driven architecture
- Message processing
- Error handling and retry mechanisms
- Kafka integration with Node.js applications
- Building scalable asynchronous workflows
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable server-side applications using Node.js
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend microservices
- Build and maintain Kafka-based event-driven services
- Integrate backend applications with databases and third-party APIs
- Develop secure, reusable, and maintainable backend components
- Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Implement authentication and authorization using JWT / OAuth
- Troubleshoot production and server-side application issues
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, QA, and other development teams
Database Skills
Experience with one or more of the following:
