Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Sales & Marketing to lead the company's sales and marketing functions. The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of experience in the construction, real estate, or infrastructure industry, with a proven track record in business development, revenue growth, brand building, and team leadership. The AGM will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing marketing strategies, expanding market presence, and achieving organizational growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
- Lead the sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, channel partners, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee lead generation, customer acquisition, sales pipeline management, and conversion strategies.
- Develop pricing, promotional, and branding strategies to strengthen the company's market position.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with project, operations, finance, and management teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Review sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics, ensuring targets are achieved through effective planning and execution.
- Lead digital and offline marketing initiatives, including exhibitions, corporate events, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
- Mentor, coach, and develop sales and marketing teams to improve performance and productivity.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management is preferred.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the construction, real estate, or infrastructure industry.
- Proven experience in business development, key account management, and strategic planning.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and drive high-performing teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and sales analytics tools.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
