- Explain the ultrasound procedure to patients, answering preliminary questions and easing anxieties.
- Assist female patients with changing into gowns, positioning them on the examination table, and applying the acoustic gel.
- Serve as a female attendant/chaperone for gynecological, transvaginal (TVS), and obstetric ultrasounds to maintain patient comfort and safety.
- Measure and record basic vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, weight) and report abnormalities to the doctor
- Set up the ultrasound machine, ensure the transducer/probes are clean, and verify an adequate supply of gel, paper towels, and disinfectant wipes.
- Hand necessary tools to the doctor, assist with patient positioning during complicated scans, and help with invasive procedures like USG-guided biopsies or aspirations.
- Sterilize the examination room, disinfect the ultrasound probes after every use, and maintain strict infection control protocols.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
