Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Chemist (Fresher) to join our Quality Assurance Laboratory. The selected candidate will be trained in laboratory testing, quality control procedures, raw material analysis, and documentation related to glove manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates who are eager to build a career in quality assurance and laboratory operations.
Preference will be given to candidates residing in Nagercoil and surrounding areas.
Key ResponsibilitiesLaboratory Testing
- Perform routine laboratory testing.
- Test raw materials, chemicals, coagulants, latex, and finished products as per standard procedures.
- Assist in monitoring in-process quality parameters during production.
- Support final inspection and product quality verification.
- Inspect incoming packing materials and record inspection results.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain laboratory records and testing reports accurately.
- Update quality logs and laboratory documentation.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI).
- Assist in preparing laboratory reports whenever required.
Laboratory Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
- Handle laboratory equipment carefully and report any abnormalities.
- Assist in calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Support improvements in laboratory practices and testing efficiency.
Quality & Compliance
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and laboratory safety procedures.
- Adhere to company health, safety, and quality policies.
- Participate in quality audits and training programs.
Teamwork
- Work closely with the QA Manager and Production team.
- Provide support to the R&D team during product trials and evaluations.
Qualification
- B.Sc. Chemistry
- Industrial Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or related Chemistry disciplines are eligible.
Experience
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Prior internship or industrial training in a laboratory is an added advantage but not mandatory.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of chemistry and laboratory practices.
- Good observation and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel and MS Word).
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
