We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with prior experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, inventory reconciliation, and ensuring accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
- Maintain purchase, sales, and expense records.
- Handle cash, bank, and payment reconciliations.
- Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
- Process supplier invoices and vendor payments.
- Monitor food cost, inventory, and stock reconciliation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Maintain payroll and employee attendance records.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist management in budgeting and cost control.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
- Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience in a restaurant, hotel, café, or hospitality business.
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting principles.
- Experience with GST filing and statutory compliance.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
