Job Location
Thane / Mumbai Region with field travel to schools and educational institutions.
Experience Required
1–5 years in field sales, software sales, ERP sales, EdTech sales, education sales, or B2B sales.
Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to promote and sell our School Management ERP solution to schools and educational institutions.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential schools, arranging meetings with school decision makers, conducting product demonstrations, generating proposals, and closing sales.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate leads from schools and educational institutions.
- Visit schools and meet principals, trustees, management members and administrators.
- Understand customer requirements and pain points.
- Schedule and conduct product demonstrations.
- Present software features and business benefits clearly.
- Follow up with prospects through calls, WhatsApp and email.
- Prepare quotations and proposals.
- Maintain sales pipeline and daily visit reports.
- Coordinate with implementation and support teams during onboarding.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Build long-term relationships with schools for renewals and referrals.
- Participate in exhibitions, education events and local networking opportunities.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Confidence in face-to-face meetings and negotiations.
- Ability to explain software products to non-technical users.
- Basic computer knowledge including MS Office and email.
- Good follow-up and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated and target driven attitude.
- Willingness to travel locally for customer meetings.
Preferred Skills
- Experience selling School ERP, software products, SaaS, or educational products.
- Existing contacts in schools or educational institutions.
- Experience using CRM software.
- Knowledge of admissions, fees, attendance or school administration processes.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA Marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation
- Fixed salary plus attractive performance incentives and sales commissions.
- Travel reimbursement as per company policy.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Own two-wheeler preferred.
- Comfortable with local travel.
- Fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi preferred.
- Positive attitude and strong ownership mindset.
Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
