Role: QA / Automation Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking skilled QA / Automation Engineers with strong expertise in Playwright automation and Python scripting. The ideal candidate will work on enhancing and maintaining automation test scripts within an established framework and contribute to ensuring the quality of an enterprise‑grade Operations Management platform that manages both cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright within an existing automation framework.

Write clean, efficient Python scripts to support test automation activities.

Execute manual and automated test cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage across platform modules.

Troubleshoot automation failures, perform root‑cause analysis, and improve script reliability.

Create detailed test documentation including test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports.

Collaborate closely with product engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to validate platform functionality.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives around QA processes, automation efficiency, and test strategy.
Preferred Skills (Must Have)

Understanding of networking concepts and observability tools/techniques.

Experience testing modules related to:

Cloud resources (AWS, Azure, GCP)

MySQL databases

Servers, switches, routers

Device/network topology

Juniper device connectivity

Familiarity with:

Patch management workflows (status, push/pull, approvals)

Alerts, monitoring, and production incident analysis

Exposure to Infrastructure or Operations Management platforms.
