Job Summary
The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's range of surgical instruments and medical devices to hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, healthcare institutions, distributors, and dealers. The candidate will develop strong customer relationships, achieve sales targets, and expand the company's market presence within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the company's surgical instruments and medical products.
- Visit doctors, surgeons, hospitals, nursing homes, and healthcare institutions regularly.
- Generate new business opportunities and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Appoint and manage distributors and dealers in the assigned territory.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to healthcare professionals.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and payments.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Participate in medical conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and CME programs.
- Ensure proper product availability and coordinate with the logistics team for timely deliveries.
- Prepare daily call reports, expense reports, and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain complete customer records using CRM or company reporting systems.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through prompt service and after-sales support.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (Science/Life Science preferred).
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or related field will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in Medical Devices, Surgical Instruments, Healthcare, or Pharmaceutical Sales.
- Freshers with excellent communication and willingness to travel may also apply.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Good knowledge of hospitals, healthcare institutions, and surgical products.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
