We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team as Trainees in Confectionery and Bakery.
- Assist in preparation of bakery and confectionery items such as breads, cakes, cookies, pastries, chocolates, and desserts.
- Follow standard recipes and instructions from senior chefs.
- Help in measuring ingredients, mixing batters/doughs, and operating baking equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and equipment.
- Monitor inventory and inform supervisors about low stock or expired items.
- Support with packaging and labeling of finished goods.
- Adhere to safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols.
- Participate in training sessions and on-the-job learning activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
- Passion for baking and confectionery.
- Basic knowledge of baking ingredients and tools is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Culinary/baking certification or enrollment in relevant course is an advantage (but not mandatory).
