About the Company
SANSU AUTOMOTIVES PRIVATE LIMITED is an established automotive manufacturing company specializing in Die Casting and related manufacturing processes. We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Shift Incharge to manage shift operations and ensure smooth production, quality, manpower utilization, and machine performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise shift-wise die casting production activities.
- Handle GDC / PDC (Gravity Die Casting / Pressure Die Casting) production operations.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the daily production plan.
- Monitor machine performance, productivity, rejection, downtime and overall OEE.
- Handle and coordinate manpower deployment and shift activities.
- Troubleshoot production-related problems and take immediate corrective action.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room and Production Planning teams.
- Ensure proper adherence to process parameters and work instructions.
- Monitor casting defects and take necessary corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain shift-wise production reports, rejection reports, downtime reports and other required documentation.
- Ensure proper handling and availability of dies, tools and consumables during the shift.
Die Maintenance & Tool Room Knowledge
- Practical knowledge of die maintenance and die-related troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with the Tool Room for die repair, preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance.
- Identify common die-related issues such as leakage, flash, wear, damage and cooling problems.
- Ensure dies are maintained and made available as per the production schedule.
- Monitor die life and maintenance records.
Electrical & Machine Maintenance Knowledge
- Basic to good practical knowledge of electrical maintenance of die casting machines and supporting equipment.
- Ability to identify electrical/machine-related breakdowns and coordinate with the Electrical/Maintenance team.
- Knowledge of sensors, motors, heaters, control panels, hydraulic systems and other machine components will be an advantage.
- Ensure breakdowns are attended and machines are restored with minimum downtime.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Safety & 5S
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices in the production area.
- Ensure safe operation of machines, dies, furnaces and related equipment.
- Report unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–10 years of relevant experience in Die Casting / Automotive Manufacturing.
- Experience in GDC / PDC / Die Casting production is preferred.
- Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Electrical or related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of die casting production processes.
- Practical knowledge of die maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Basic electrical and machine maintenance knowledge.
- Good manpower handling and shift management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take quick decisions during breakdowns and production issues.
- Knowledge of production documentation and basic computer operations.
- Good communication and team coordination skills.
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Salary will be based on experience, technical knowledge and current CTC.
