Role Overview
We are looking for a target-driven and student-focused Academic Counsellor to drive enrolments for BBA and MBA programs in the Indian market. The role involves counselling students, managing leads, and ensuring conversion from inquiry to admission while delivering a superior student experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counselling
- Counsel prospective students and parents via telephone, video calls, and in-person interactions
- Understand student needs, academic background, and career aspirations to recommend suitable BBA/MBA programs
- Provide detailed information on course curriculum, fee structure.
Lead Management & Conversion
- Handle inbound and outbound leads from digital campaigns, walk-ins, education fairs, and partner channels
- Ensure timely follow-up (within TAT) to maximize conversion ratios
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets
Admissions Process Support
- Guide students through the complete admission lifecycle (application, documentation, interviews, fee payment)
- Maintain accurate student records in CRM systems
- Coordinate with internal teams (admissions, finance, operations) for seamless onboarding
Parent Engagement
- Engage with parents/guardians to address concerns related to program outcomes, ROI, placements, and campus experience
- Build trust and long-term relationships with families
Outreach & Marketing Support
- Participate in school/college visits, seminars, webinars, and education fairs
- Support local marketing initiatives and partnerships to generate leads
- Represent VFS Global Academy professionally at all event

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly enrolment numbers (BBA & MBA programs in Travel & Tourism)
- Lead-to-admission conversion rate
- Daily follow-up adherence and CRM updates
- Student and parent satisfaction scores
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
