Role Overview
The Nursing Superintendent will be responsible for the overall management, supervision, and administration of nursing services within the hospital. The role ensures high standards of patient care, efficient nursing operations, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities Nursing Operations Management
- Oversee daily nursing operations across all departments (ICU, wards, OPD, emergency)
- Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical protocols
- Monitor nursing staff performance and maintain service standards
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, supervise, and mentor nursing staff including Head Nurses and Staff Nurses
- Plan duty rosters, staffing requirements, and shift management
- Conduct regular training, performance evaluations, and skill development programs
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and statutory regulations
- Maintain infection control protocols and patient safety measures
- Handle audits, inspections, and documentation
Patient Care & Coordination
- Ensure patient satisfaction and address escalations or grievances
- Coordinate with doctors, administration, and other departments for seamless care
- Monitor patient feedback and implement improvements
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain nursing records, reports, and documentation
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment related to nursing
- Prepare reports for management review and decision-making
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing (mandatory)
- Registered Nurse with valid nursing council registration
- 8–15 years of experience in hospital nursing, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
- Experience in multi-specialty hospital preferred

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
