Job post - Design Draftsman – 2D CAD (Mechanical Fabrication)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D fabrication drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software for pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, and related equipment.
- Develop GA drawings, fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings as per project requirements. Interpret design calculations, P&IDs, and technical specifications to produce accurate drawings.
- Prepare detailed layouts including nozzle orientation, internals arrangement, and fabrication details.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes and standards such as ASME and client specifications. Coordinate with design engineers, quality, and production teams to incorporate revisions and resolve technical queries.
-Maintain proper drawing control, revision history, and documentation as per company procedures. Assist in preparing BOMs (Bill of Materials) and material take-offs from drawings.
- Support production team by clarifying drawings and updating changes during fabrication. Ensure dimensional accuracy and manufacturability of drawings.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
