About Position:
We are seeking a DLP Lead Ops professional with 5+ years of experience to lead Data Loss Prevention (DLP) operations, ensuring effective monitoring, incident response, and governance across enterprise environments. This role focuses on operational leadership, data security, compliance alignment, and continuous improvement of DLP processes.

What You'll Do:

Lead day-to-day DLP monitoring, investigation, incident response, and escalation activities.

Act as the primary point of contact for DLP operations.

Drive operational maturity by defining and tracking SLAs, KPIs, and response timelines.

Assess risk and determine business impact of data leakage incidents.
-
Lead, mentor, and review work of junior DLP analysts.
-
Coordinate with SOC, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams during DLP incidents.
-
Handle business exceptions, risk acceptance decisions, and policy escalations.
-
Communicate clearly and confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-
Lead discussions and incident calls with strong spoken English communication.

Manage enterprise DLP solutions such as Zscaler, Microsoft Purview DLP, Symantec, and Forcepoint.

Design, create, tune, and optimize DLP policies across endpoints, email, cloud platforms, and network channels.

Perform incident triage, investigation, root cause analysis, and false-positive reduction.

Understand and map data discovery and data flow across enterprise environments.

Create and maintain DLP SOPs, investigation playbooks, and documentation.

Drive continuous improvement of DLP processes, workflows, and automation.

Produce clear operational and risk reports for leadership.

Ensure alignment of DLP controls with organizational policies and procedures.

Support audits, compliance reviews, and management reporting.

Work in compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR and ISO 27001 (as applicable).

Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.

Work effectively under pressure during incidents with ownership and accountability.
Expertise You'll Bring:

5+ years of experience in DLP operations and cybersecurity domain.

Strong experience in DLP monitoring, incident response, and operations leadership.

Hands-on expertise with enterprise DLP tools like Zscaler, Microsoft Purview DLP, Symantec, and Forcepoint.

Strong understanding of endpoint, cloud, inline, and email security.

Experience in designing and optimizing DLP policies across multiple channels.

Knowledge of incident triage, investigation, and root cause analysis.

Experience in risk assessment and business impact analysis of data leakage incidents.

Expertise in stakeholder management across SOC, IT, Legal, Compliance, and business teams.

Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001).

Experience in creating documentation, SOPs, and playbooks.

Ability to drive process improvements and automation initiatives.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication skills with ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
