About the Role:
Saraswati Group of Colleges, Punjab is inviting applications for the position of Cashier.
The role requires a trustworthy and detail-oriented professional who can handle daily cash transactions, maintain financial records, and support the accounts department in routine financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily cash transactions and fee collections
- Maintain records of receipts, payments, and cash balances
- Generate fee receipts and maintain transaction documentation
- Deposit collected cash as per institutional procedures
- Assist in preparing daily cash reports and financial summaries
- Coordinate with the accounts department for reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in financial handling
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of records

Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / Graduate in Commerce or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in cashiering or accounts-related work
- Basic knowledge of accounting and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of Tally ERP is mandatory
- Familiarity with MS Office and basic computer operations
Required Skill Set:
- Accuracy in cash handling and record maintenance
- Basic accounting and numerical skills
- Hands-on experience with Tally accounting software
- Honesty, confidentiality, and responsibility
- Good organizational and documentation abilities
- Communication and coordination skills
